Hi, I'm Cass Lui :)

Influenced by themes of introversion, mundane, and nostalgia, my work aims to capture moments of the quiet and still. In this hectic reality, I hope to encourage the viewer to pause and to do nothing with no expectations. Many of my illustrations include subjects that are framed, highlighting the joy and appreciation for overlooked feelings and memories.

My work is grounded in analog techniques such as drawing and painting, primarily using ink and acrylic.

I began tattooing in 2022 as a way to expand my storytelling. I specialize in black and grey, illustrative realism. I'm currently an artist at Little Pond Studio, based in Toronto, Canada.
